I wish we had places like that around here, but sadly we dont. Anything that is old/shut down is illegal to enter =(

I got lucky because they took this old hospital and made a museum out of it! I looked and there really isnt another like it around the country. I need to get back and take more pictures when there arent many people around. I missed alot of opportunities because it was really crowded.

There is one place that is illegal to enter around here that I am dying to get into. Its called The Odd Fellows. I have taken pics of the outside but want to get it as its said to be haunted. It has been everything from a hotel, to an older adults home to an insane asylum. I imagine its full of cool stuff. Sadly, cannot enter! =(

That would be so awesome. There used to be an old insane asylum around here. It was HUGE. Sadly, it was torn down before I was ever able to go into it (due to asbestos). I heard stories about it from my older siblings, they said there were tunnels under the building that were apparently used for torture type things. There were chains up on the wall to hold people up. Old glass IV's, human remains...(eww, only bones though) and some crazy looking medical equipment. Among others. I am going to have to research and see if there is ANY cool stuff around here lol.
